He goes two days a week from 9-11:30 and is loving it. I thought he would be more apprehensive about going the first day but he gave me a hug and a kiss and tossed me out the door! Happenings at the Laney House. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. First Day of School. First grade here we come! Emersyn started first grade last week on August 18th, she was so excited to go, I think she has been waiting for first grade to start since about a month into Kindergarten! With her friend Mara. Her teacher Mrs. Coleman. She did say that she was going to play again next year though, so it must not have been too bad. Last Day of Kindergarten. With her good friends Kaylin and Mara. Last day of school.

Happenings at the Laney House. Sunday, November 20, 2011. The Princess and the Pea. First Grade Field Trip. I was able to go along on the first grade field trip to the pumpkin patch in Oakes. It was a bit of a cold and windy day but was fun to spend the day with the class! We also spent one day checking out Storybook land. Lazy weekends at the Lake. We spent Labor day weekend at Ottertail Lake. We checked out the airshow, did some fishing and just spent the weekend relaxing. First day of Preschool.

Happenings at the Laney House. Thursday, March 31, 2011. McKenna sent us her Flat Stanley all the way from IL so we showed him a good time in our neck of the woods! We took him to visit the Toy Farmer museum, which publishes a national toy tractor magazine. He got to visit one of the few remaining missile silos in ND in LaMoure. Happenings at the Laney House. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. The Veteran's Day Program. Austin dressed up during the day as an army man for Halloween. It was Jackson's old costume so it was kind of fun to see Austin be able to wear it too! That night when we went out trick or treating he dressed up like Sully from Monster Inc and Emersyn dressed up like Ariel from The Little Mermaid. One nice fall day. Whoalong time no blog!
