A Brit in the USA. A Cadbury girl living in a Hershey world. Monday, June 30, 2014. Maine: The Way Life Should Be. How is it the end of June already and I haven't blogged at all? It's been so busy getting ready for moving and trying to make the most of living in the Northeast for a few more weeks. So back we go to the end of May and our Memorial Day weekend trip. Along the way Matt found a plastic bottle with a note on one of the beaches. My first ever message in a bottle! It made us smile. This might be...

A Brit in the USA. A Cadbury girl living in a Hershey world. Saturday, April 19, 2014. Lake Placid in the Snow. We headed up on Saturday morning and spend most of the day walking around the village of Lake Placid, including all around Mirror lake as it was completely frozen. http://ellie-abritintheusa.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
A Brit in the USA. A Cadbury girl living in a Hershey world. Monday, May 26, 2014. When my parents visited last September, they went whale watching in Boston. Well, they were supposed to go whale watching but no whales showed up to be watched so they got two rain check tickets for another trip. They donated the tickets to us and we got round to using them this memorial day weekend. So many whale tails to photo! Open mouth feeding for whales and birds. Two whales open mouth feeding. Saturday, May 17, 2014.

A Brit in the USA. A Cadbury girl living in a Hershey world. Saturday, October 26, 2013. Wedding Time in Nebraska. In early September I went to the wedding of an old friend of mine who I first met at Reading. Jerilyn was one of the Oklahoma students who studied at Reading, so when we reversed the exchange and went to Oklahoma she was there to look after us (and make many many many trips to Walmart to buy all the things we needed)! Jerilyn and I in Oklahoma City in 2005! View from the park tower. After th...

Well here are a few pictures from my brother and Jenna's wedding at last! They are a combination of our pictures (minimal) and photos from my parents phones. The official photos are much better but I won't be sharing those obviously and there aren't any from the actual ceremony! Matt and Dad waiting for the service to start. We look better in black and white!

http://ellie-abritintheusa.blogspot.com/2014/10/kew-gardens-and-ice-bar.html
A Brit in the USA. A Cadbury girl living in a Hershey world. Saturday, October 4, 2014. Kew Gardens and the Ice Bar. We visited Kew Gardens on a really beautiful warm sunny day in July. I'm not quite sure how we got so lucky but the whole week we were in England, everywhere we went it was sunny. There were floods in other parts of the country but we brought the sunshine with us apparently. October 5, 2014 at 3:32 PM. Glad you had sun in England. The pictures of you guys in the Ice Bar are great :).
