Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Thanks, Nature Valley. There's a picture of someone doing yoga (tree pose, if you must know) on this box of yoga granola bars I have. I have not decided whether this is because yog. Urt sound like they might go together or because yoga is good for you and it is being done right here on this box, therefore these granola bars are totally good for you, too, even though yogurt-covered snacks are not ever all that good for you. Media Mixed: Spring harvest
http://mediamixed.blogspot.com/2007/05/spring-harvest.html
Monday, May 07, 2007. Maybe it was more of a spring thinning, but the French radishes I pulled from the ground today tasted great in my salad. There were more, but I ate them before I took this photo. Two tomato plants went in the ground today, and I can't wait for some real tomatoes. That's a long way off, though. I'm going to pass out. I'm like you I can hardly wait, I'm thinking about a BLT with vine ripe tomatoes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In My Kitchen Garden. Other people I like.

E-mail me by, say, Monday, because that's when I get the TAL. Podcast, but that's not a real deadline. Links to this post.

Saturday, July 29, 2006. I meant to be reading The Accidental. By Ali Smith, but I went in search of "Ali" instead of "Smith" at the library and found Brick Lane. Which I'd vaguely remembered hearing good things about. So next trip, it's to the S's. It reminds me of White Teeth. The other women in the book seem to be more perceptive about their new homes, too. Maybe it's because they make more connections among themselves than the men do. Or maybe it's because they largely don't have to face the ...The r...
