Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-manipulative form of bodywork that works directly with the body’s inherent ability to readjust and balance itself. The craniosacral rhythm originates within the core of the brain where cerebrospinal fluid is produced in a tide-like ebb and flow. This rhythmic motion is felt as a subtle expansion and contraction of the bones of the skull, the spine, sacrum and soft tissues. Craniosacral therapy works directly with areas in the body that have this restricted motion.
