The Jack Frost Winter Festival returned this year, after a hammering of snow on the island, you'd think that really the whole Island could have been turned into a winter festival. Kallie and I ventured out to the festival grounds to check out the sculpted winter kingdom, the ice-slides, busker shows, sculptures and more! After weeks of off-and-on storms, the weekend turned out great for the festival, and Kallie bumped into her good friend Kelly to hang with! Off for a ride!

Sunday, November 30, 2014. Love a good get-togther and love a good mystery! Mel and I were invited to take part in a "Murder Mystery" party at a friends house. It was a big gathering for friends, food and foul play! Our mystery dealt with the murder of famous Hollywood actor Jed Manhattan, you can check out the game HERE. Nigel LeFunk and Roxy Roller! Monday, December 15, 2014. A sit with Santa! As we left Kallie's birthday party, we walked back to the car outside the Confederation Court Mall, and decided to pop in for a bit, and low and behold. SANTA was there! So we waited in a fairly long line, and Kallie got to sit with Santa at his sleigh and tell him what she was hoping for for Christmas! Festival in Charlottetown, a unique art show that displays all sorts of art, visual, performance and more, a lot of it interactive! We took Kallie downtown for it, and saw many amazing displays, of course my favourite being the Optimus Prime statue, that took the artist 4 years to put together, and his attention to detail shone through, such a great job! Sunday, March 08, 2015. Today was "Bowl For Kids Sake" at the Murphy Centre here in town, in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI. The radio station has been a long time supporter, so we've always been a part of the bowling party that takes place at the end of the fundraising. I went there this morning to take part, and when church wrapped up, Kallie and Mel stopped by to join our team! Kallie did quite good (she was playing for my co-worker Steph, who couldn't make it. check out that score!

Friday, May 30, 2014. Took some photos of Kallie in the backyard, you can tell by the first one that she wasn't too thrilled about the whole idea. But she warmed up to it by the end! Saturday, March 29, 2014. I remember years ago, borrowing Scott's RCA VHS camcorder and using the stop-motion feature on it to do silly little things with toys we had, like making GI Joe's dance, or running RC cars into each other. Had fun messing around with it, Ryan too. I think that tape is still around here somewhere, if I can find it, I'll digitize it and post it up! Smash cut decades later and I introduce my little girl to the idea of stop-motion animation with an app on my phone! A frame at a time.
