Stories of Grandeur: June 2013

http://storiesofgrandeur.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

101 in 1001 v.2.0. 101 in 1001 v.1.0. Thursday, June 20, 2013. I just watched The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Nice little family movie for kids older than mine. so I watched alone because the hubby wasn't interested (and after finishing it, it was a good decision by him). The moral of the movie was that you shouldn't/needn't try to impress people by pretending to be something but should be yourself! There were some other random morals too, but the main one I got out of it is that we should stop pretending.

101 in 1001 v.2.0. 101 in 1001 v.1.0. Sunday, March 23, 2014. What are all those white things? If you live in the Abbotsford area you have likely seen the white things as you drive towards Costco. There's about 1800 of them. 1,862 of them, actually. They're all lined up in the field. It's a memorial, of sorts. Les Bazso/PNG FILES ( The Province. When my 5-year-old daughter points to them and asks what they are, what should I say? So all the babies died right there? Yah, I'll get to meet it one day.".

Adventures of a Haus Frau: July 2011

http://adventuresofahousefrau.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Adventures of a Haus Frau. Sunday, 31 July 2011. So much has happened lately. Kids have finished school, flooding has occurred in our village, and more importantly, my sister-in-laws. Their house was chest-high in flood waters, ridiculous. So many things are ruined. furniture, shoes and coats washed away, a childhood of toys lost, but what's the most heart-breaking? It's a bit fuzzy, but that doesn't mean it's not awesome. Notice how the crown on his head says Jesus Loves Me? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Adventures of a Haus Frau. Sunday, 12 June 2011. Let's just call it 'Spot'. I'm not sure this post will include a picture. Why? Because it's about my spot ( and for those of you who are confused. a zit.). I know it's a bit unusual to talk about something like a facial blemish, but hey. I'm unusual. And the reason I'm willing to speak about it, is because it's caused quite a stir in my little family. And then once you start poking you think ' Well, now that I've started, I need to give it a proper go!

Adventures of a Haus Frau: Ode to Asher

http://adventuresofahousefrau.blogspot.com/2011/05/ode-to-asher.html

Adventures of a Haus Frau. Sunday, 29 May 2011. Well, I was going to start this off with my eldest, Jacob, but since it is Asher's birthday tomorrow, he gets to bask in the limelight. Not really. Do I believe that Jesus sent us this most absolutely, wonderfully perfect boy on purpose? I have no idea. But I feel like God was giving me that peace, to prepare me for what was about to happen. And would Asher have come about if I hadn't miscarried? Probably not. Is God in everything? 29 May 2011 at 06:08.

Heather from Home: June 2010

http://heatherfromhome.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

A place for me to share about my life as mom, wife, student, sister, daughter, aunty, friend, baker, shopper, cook, cleaner, driver and all the other "hats" I wear throughout the day. Monday, June 28, 2010. Spotted today in Langley:. It has not yet been confirmed is this is an actual "outlet" store - as the helpful workers at Old Navy had only seen the sign today for the first time as well. But I am staying very hopeful at this point. Saturday, June 26, 2010. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. July 2005 - Married!

Adventures of a Haus Frau: Poorly little girl

http://adventuresofahousefrau.blogspot.com/2011/06/poorly-little-girl.html

Adventures of a Haus Frau. Wednesday, 8 June 2011. So I'm stuck at home today with a poorly little girl. Asher had conjunctivitis last week, and Aniya seems to have got it off him. But it's affected her far more than Asher. It almost looks as though she has eczema on her eyes as well. They're so red and puffy. Poor little girl. AND she's got a rockin' temperature. Awesome. I was on cloud nine! 8 June 2011 at 20:07. Poor Yaya:( Sorry shes not feeling good. Would have commented earlier when I read this...

A place for me to share about my life as mom, wife, student, sister, daughter, aunty, friend, baker, shopper, cook, cleaner, driver and all the other "hats" I wear throughout the day. Monday, April 25, 2011. So I could not be more excited. Today while pulling into our lane I noticed a Thrifty Food's delivery truck. Intrigued I made a mental note to check out if Thrity's. Does indeed deliver - and if so, at what cost. 1) I don't have to take my kids grocery shopping. 6) They have their flyer. 8) When John...

A blog devoted to my daughter and all that I see that reminds me of her. December 17, 2007. Posted by storiesofgrace under Uncategorized. Christmas means it’s Christmas card time, AKA time to show off our daughter’s cuteness once again.
