Friday, December 26, 2008. December turned out to be very busy month to end our very busy year. Tyler started T-ball and it is about the cutest thing we have seen. He absolutely loves it! Tyler also lost his first tooth this month. This picture cracks me up. He was just trying to smile so I could see the tooth he lost, instead he looks terrified! We thought the whole idea of the tooth fairy may scare him but he did just fine. The kid is motivated by money! Left to Right: Michael, Tyler, Meghan and Luke.

Friday, March 28, 2008. Luke quickly discovered he had a love for sand. We went to South Padre Island yesterday. Luke was hilarious. On the boys and they still got burned! Needless to say, today has been a barrel. Of laughs recovering from too much sun and hurting skin. I did manage to get all three boys to take a nap at the same time.that has only happened one other time so I was a happy camper. Thursday, March 20, 2008. Our new Texas terrain.mesquite and cactus! Well, we are finally here in McAllen.

The Dumbest Generation, by Mark Bauerlein challenged me, inspired me, and had me questioning many cultural norms. We had the best time last night because we saw two incredible movies. Go see them! I think they might be the two best movies I will see all year. They were different, but both were hopeful and filled with rich emotions and characters who inspire. My pasta might dry up. I mean I am lit from within. A fire is brewing. Just pray for me.

It is one of those that I think I will remember forever. I know it is a bit crazy to feel so strongly about a fictional story about fictional characters, but for whatever reason I am deeply affected by what I read.
