I realize I'm getting older when I pull out the camping floppy hat to stay out of the sun. We had another good 4th this year. Thank you to all who came and hung out with us. Monday, June 29, 2009. We decided to get a Banzai slide in stead of Lagoon passes this year. This was the inaugural inflation of the slide. The video quality isn't that great because it was off of my cell phone but it is still funny. When Sophia learned that we got a water slide and that they boys will be spending the summer outside on it, her face just lit up with excitement. We had her a princess party at my house, with a real princess which all the girls loved it was amazing how quiet they all got for her, she did a fantastic job. Jesse, Kassie, Zachary, Jade, and Kambrin. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Star light star bright first star I see tonight. And every 4 nights a week for this next month :). I always feel so bad when I have to do my stint on the night shift. He doesn't get the sleep he needs and has to do the single dad thing at night. I also have to let Jade go to Virginia for a whole month and that sucks too! But at least I wont be missing her to much and it will be easier for Jesse to just have Kambrin, I think? But really mom...

Tuesday, October 12, 2010. It has taken me a while to get to this but it's for good reason. Merrick has had his second heart surgery inside of a year's time. The toll that it has taken on him and the rest of us has been great. He has been very good throughout the whole ordeal. I'll sum it up as quickly and precisely as I can.
