To Supervise or Not. Larr; Getting Started. Apple devices can be managed under two modes: Supervise and Not Supervised. The mode you chose will depend on how the devices are used and by whom. Cellabus recommends all school owned devices to be put on supervised mode. By doing so you have access to the following restrictions and features not available otherwise:. Locking devices to a specific app. Silent over-the-air installation of apps using Cellabus without having to enter iTunes password.

Enrolling Remaining iOS Devices. Connect new, unsupervised iOS devices (up to 30 at once). In the Apple Configurator Prepare pane, set the devices to restore automatically from the backup created; name the devices and check the option to number them sequentially. Make sure the Cellabus management profile (available at https:/ {Your Subdomain}.cellabus.com/profile/mdm profile) is now checked in the Apple Configurator Prepare pane. Connect additional devices as needed, and click prepare. Or sign in with.
