Glad wouldn’t tell me how old she was when Poppy and I visited today she eventually let it slip she was born in 1923. 🙂 She left home at 14 to work on a farm in Westbury. I should never have been sent there, they worked me like a slave! If only my mother had known. We milked 20 cows every day by hand, there was no machines back then it was over 70 years ago!
