For information on NScripter and ONScripter as such, see insani's English-language documentation. Source code with dependencies. Decent package managers; we've occasionally known problems to occur with distribution-packaged SDL mixer in particular.). Source code is available from a public Subversion.

http://dev.haeleth.net/kpac.shtml
An error occurred while processing this directive]. Kpac is a compiler/disassembler package for the AVG32 virtual machine used in older VisualArt's titles. There is currently no public release available, since the documentation is very incomplete and the program itself somewhat unstable.

Hæleþes áwendende - Kurokoge fork
http://dev.haeleth.net/kurokoge.shtml
An error occurred while processing this directive]. Kurokoge is an AVG32 clone for OS X. It's based on the MacOS 9-based clone Waffle. Has a number of issues that prevent it working well with my Kanon patch, so—with some help from people who actually own Macs, notably Misty de Meo—I've modified it to support the features I need. This English version is supported and distributed from this page. Installation of the Kanon patch is documented in the README accompanying the OS X build of the installer.

Hæleþes áwendende - xclannad patches
http://dev.haeleth.net/xclannad.shtml
An error occurred while processing this directive]. I'm hacking on Jagarl's xclannad. Interpreter in my spare time, in the hopes that it can be persuaded to run. This is where the modifications I'm currently fiddling with can be found. The recent release of 0.07 included all my patches so far, so currently there's nothing here.

Hæleþes áwendende - xkanon patches
http://dev.haeleth.net/xkanon.shtml
An error occurred while processing this directive]. This is a support page for users of Jagarl's xkanon. Interpreter with English games. The stock xkanon interpreter has a number of minor incompatibilities with English text: Arkazam fixed most of those. In addition to this, it does not implement (or implements incompatibly) a number of AVG32 features which I have used in Kanon, but which are not used by many commercial titles: I have implemented and fixed most of these in turn. Xkanon for English games.

http://dev.haeleth.net/majiro.shtml
An error occurred while processing this directive]. Visual-novel-oriented scripting engine, used by companies such as SIESTA, NekoNeko Soft, and the R18 group (Beenyan, Candle, Haoh). I've figured out most of the system architecture, though little of its finer details; it's a pretty simple setup that repeats all the same mistakes just about every other similar engine has made, in terms of naive file formats, trivial cyclic XOR encryption, and so forth. 50 kb - 2005.9.2. One shiny package of Susie.

An error occurred while processing this directive]. This section of the site contains the tools I've written, where I feel they'd be generally useful to other people. It's also the home of my modifications to other people's projects, particularly to clones of the interpreters on which so many PC games run. See the navigation sidebar for details of what's available.
