Tuesday, May 1, 2012. FROM MARTINIQUE TO BONAIRE. Sunday, April 15th we left Martinique in a light E wind, blowing into the stern all the way to Bonaire. We sat up whisker poles and sailed wing to wing. The wind almost never exceeded ten knots. It was an easy passage, that took 96 hours. The second day it rained, but the following day the sun dried out our wet clothing. Our fishing luck returned, we caught a large dolphinfish (mahi-mahi). A FEW IMPRESSIONS OF LE MARIN, MARTINIQUE. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. After meeting in Rodney Bay, St.Lucia and spending time on Bonaire and Curacao last year, we met Eva and Jean-Luc Raynal again in Cruz, St.John. We sailed a short distance to the Christmas Cove on St.Thomas and spent three days together sharing sundowners, dinners, domino games and experiences. We parted, Polde and I sailing US and British Virgin Islands, while Eva and Jean-Luc were off to a long sail around the world on their Amel 'Reve de Lune IV'. Bon voyage, dear friends!

Kids' tennis in her Bonaire area needed to be organised, and being also a tennis pro, she took the challenge and has been for the last twelve years successfully running the tennis school and taking kids to other islands to compete. Tuesday, February 12, 2013. From Vieques our plan was to sail straight to St.Thomas. Sunday, January 5th we left Bahia de Chiva early in the morning, the winds and the waves were high already. We were eager to sail. Instead of east towards St.Thomas we turned north to Culebra and flew with all the sails up 8 and 9 knots all the way.
