They give you 4 different subjects and you get one question on each subject. You choose the dificulty level. It is all about speaking what you know and being able to communicate. The possibe fifth phase was a written test that we did not do. Still no idea what it is like. Saturday, February 7, 2009. Working at a Horse Show. Being told...

AURI'S MINIATURE SADDLES: Something different
http://aurisaddles.blogspot.com/2010/04/something-different.html
Martedì 20 aprile 2010. I've been slowly working on them for several weeks. I made lots of them, in many different colors, but these 3 are the only finished ones. Some have tassels but I really prefer this simple style, on real horses too. These girls are finally done too! The cute Justadream is not only haired, her head and left foreleg have been refined a bit, without altering too much the original horse's look. She will wear soon a full endurance set! Follow her progress from her very first horseback riding lesson to her next, with horse stories in between. Saturday, October 1, 2011. However, I had already agreed to go with my barn posse to a Gymkhana. What is a gymkhana? He seemed just fine though, even happy/excited to have a task to do that we have practiced before. We competed in the following events:. 2 barrels set up, you have to go around both.

Open Gate Farm: July 2010
http://opengatefarm.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Ooh, that's better! Back to that brass clincher browband. I never did like that first attempt, but I was at a loss for a different thing to try. I stopped at the Mal-Wart closest to the barn to "drop off photos" and get some Corn Chex and cat food. Hungry barn kittens where out! But I digress. The beading stuff caught my eye; I've got a high ferret factor for shiney things! Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Thursday, July 8, 2010. There is a style of double bridle that uses a single buc...

Open Gate Farm: Meet Bucky
http://opengatefarm.blogspot.com/2010/08/meet-bucky.html
Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Well, if you read MH Blab, you might know that my SO's Standardbred mare, Princess, had an "unauthorized" encounter with a palomino QH colt. It's a long story, and let's just say that one should never underestimate a motivated colt. Especially if your mare is a bit of a hussy to start with. There was a gate involved and it did not survive. Labels: bucky the colt. August 4, 2010 at 6:18 AM. Awww, hes a cute little thing! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Thank you mom for everything you've been and everything you continue to be. Happy Birthday! Love from a lifetime of ponies and me. Mom, me on Hoppy, with our neighbor Cindy (nope, not my sister! Lock n' Load: February 2010
http://katieandjazz.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 24, 2010. So we took Abby to her first show and she was fantastic! Friday afternoon schooling was a little rough since she went over all of 2 jumps. She got her head together Saturday morning and after a quick warm-up she jumped around nicely with only one refusal. The second course was even better. We nailed all the leads, changes and cleared every jump. We were in a class of 20 or so with many horses who had no business being in a baby green schooling class and while we did not get ...

Golightly Sport Horses: April 2013
http://golightlysporthorses.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 11, 2013. Thank you to everyone for all your caring thoughts and sympathies over the news of Katchi's retirement. We all wish they could run forever, because they really were meant to, weren't they? It means so much to have such wonderful friends, many of whom I've never met! Your kind words remind me why I love horses and the people who love them! And she dutifully inspected each one. I suspect some riders had to repeat their braids later that week! She did caveat that you area allowed t...

Big Green Girl: March 2011
http://biggreengirl.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The weblog of a woman who, at age 32, decided to get her duff off the couch and put it on a horse. Follow her progress from her very first horseback riding lesson to her next, with horse stories in between. Monday, March 14, 2011. So last week, I went out to. I listened to these tales, and wished I could've seen him, but then soon forgot about it when I started pulling a dozen cats worth of hair off my beast. I took him into the arena to poke about on him, and poof! I know nothing about this subject, so ...
