Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Alaska Oil Tax Bill, HB110. Since having kids I haven't been as up on political issues as I have in the past. Today I got an email from my representative asking for support for the Governor's Oil Tax Bill HB 110. This bill would give 2 billion per year back to oil companies. That is 2 billion dollars of tax revenue that Alaska needs going to oil companies who make record profits. The link to send them emails are below. Labels: oil tax bill. One of the t...

People across the world changed a cloth diaper at the same time. It will be in the Guinness book of world records. A lot of communities held events. I debated attending the Anchorage event due to the early am start time but I went anyway. What makes washing a diaper any different than washing your clothes? Delia in a cloth diaper with the dog. This year ...

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. 50 pounds of tomatoes. Sliced in half sprinkled with olive oil and ready for the oven. The helpers peeling the oven roasted tomatoes. Boiled until the skins crack for easy peeling. A local farmer's market onion for the spaghetti sauce. I started the sauce with the onion and garlic. I pulsed the tomatoes in the blender 3-4 times and added fresh herbs. Both sauces cooking from the first batch. The roasted sauce is on the top. Diced tomatoes peeled and seeded. A really big tomato.

Raising them green: Another school year
http://raisingthemgreenmom.blogspot.com/2011/09/another-school-year.html
Thursday, September 8, 2011. Teddy started on Tuesday. Since he was a rough kid at 2 and is still very sensory oriented and a crazy kid I was a little worried how he would do but he did great. He ran right in the class and made himself at home. His teachers reported he did great. He was happy and followed directions. I am excited to see how Teddy does in school. He is a outgoing curious kid with tons of energy. Teddy on his first day of school. Delia on her first day of her last year of preschool.

http://alaskaskids.blogspot.com/2014/12/12-days-of-christmas-giveaways-day-11.html
Monday, December 15, 2014. 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways: Day 11 A LuLaRoe girl's dress. I have 2 little girls who love to dress up. My youngest would wear a dress everyday if she could. Dress shopping for my littles is actually disappointing sometimes! 65279;The dresses are too revealing or gaudy, and I want my little girl to look, well, like a little girl! I would love to win ...
