Regular Non Sequiturs: September 2008
http://r-non-s.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. A (very) small plague of grasshoppers. Monday, September 29, 2008. Boot Camp - Final Day. Yesterday was the last day of triathlon boot camp. It was a choose-your-own-adventure bike ride. We had options for 28, 40, 56, 80, and 95 mile loops. You may assume that I'm crazy enough to do one of the long rides. You would be.wrong. I managed the 40 and even opted out of a "big climb" option. What this means is that boot camp successfully kicked my butt. Saturday, September 27, 2008.

Rattle and Hum: Another photo to make you smile
http://rattleandhum92101.blogspot.com/2009/06/another-photo-to-make-you-smile.html
Thursday, June 4. Another photo to make you smile. I think this is the best picture I've seen in the post-BEA wrap-ups. Olivia is going up the escalator. For more BEA pictures, click here. Its good to see shes using proper escalator safety guidelines. Well, it is hard to see out of those giant costume heads. It only seems smart to hold onto the handrail. Smart pig. Rattle and Hum: This last full week of June
http://rattleandhum92101.blogspot.com/2009/06/this-last-full-week-of-june.html
Tuesday, June 23. This last full week of June. NOTE 6/24: I just duplicated this post on Avec Sucre. Sorry for the duplicate material.). The coffee shop decorates for the holidays and seasons. This past Sunday, they added blue banners hanging up on the walls proclaiming Happy Father's Day to all the dads who came in. The banners were up next to their spring "decor" of hanging paper/plastic flowers. Saturday was a washout for the most part. New York City has turned into the east coast Seattle this Jun...

http://rattleandhum92101.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23. Okay, so it's been a little quiet here since MARCH, but I think maybe some of you out there are still checking in hoping for a new post. I have joined the facebook hype, so if you access to that, you can also check in with me there. For those of you who don't, here's a quick recap of what has happened in the past seven months:. I ended my job with Harcourt on June 30. We moved from San Diego at the end of September. Steve started his new job October 1. Fall has arrived in NY. It...

Rattle and Hum: July 2009
http://rattleandhum92101.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 15. ALA report and upcoming calendar highlights. I got back from ALA (American Library Association) Annual Conference last night. It was in Chicago. It was an excellent conference this year. It was Egmont's first as an exhibitor and they had a really good time. Booth traffic was excellent, many new people informed of the company, authors had a great time, staff had a great time, which results in an overall very successful show. ALA Annual is a marathon. Here's is what I did:. August 6-9 -...

Rattle and Hum: May 2009
http://rattleandhum92101.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31. Where have I been? Since I last wrote, not much has happened. I've been working steadily for Egmont and getting them ready for BEA and ALA this July. I've been reading. Cooking. You know the drill. As far as author celebrities go, I missed Neil Gaiman and James Patterson, but I did see Meg Cabot. She's the author of the Princess Diaries series and more. Regular Non Sequiturs: OneHundredandSixtyFive.
http://r-non-s.blogspot.com/2010/10/onehundredandsixtyfive.html
Thursday, October 14, 2010. I'm in a bit of denial. It seems that regardless of what I do, time goes forward. I think I'm going to take some time out of my research to figure out how to stop time so I can get more stuff finished. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Regular Non Sequiturs: October 2010
http://r-non-s.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. I'm down to 148 days. So, I lost half of October trying to get the IP that I'm going to be working with. This was theoretically supposed to be quicker than designing my own device, but right now, I'm a little dubious about that fact. So, it looks like there are going to be many, many long days and nights. Thursday, October 14, 2010. Friday, October 1, 2010. Image from The Autism News. Case, though, whichever random person we "asked" for help was extremely helpful, going as far a...

Regular Non Sequiturs: October 2008
http://r-non-s.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 13, 2008. The first day of off-season found me very hungry and tired. Tomorrow will be better. Some of you will argue that yesterday was the first day of off season, but considering I was awake for a total of 8 hours yesterday, it doesn't count. Sunday, October 12, 2008. Bring on the off-season! Okay, on to the race. I am so ready for the off-season! Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Granny Annie smiles knowingly. I was going to do mile repeats tonight, but with all the excitement over at Belmont...
