Dec 23, 2009. Our homestay is in a small town called Mikindani. Mikindani is a sleepy village looking out onto the Indian Ocean at the bottom of Tanzania. About 10 kms away is a bigger town called Mtwara. And not far from Mtwara is the Mozambique border.
