http://sweetglowbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/07/sally-hansen-salon-effects-999.html
Thursday, July 14, 2011. Sally Hansen Salon Effects, $9.99. This is the kind of product that you would expect not to actually work but I promise that once you try it, you will be pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the outcome! I never thought that I needed an alternative to nailpolish, or that one could exist really (these are deep thoughts I'm having don't you think? But Sally Hansen Salon Effects polish strips really deliver. Here is a quick rundown:. Peel the plastic and the backing off the strip...

Sweet Glow Beauty: April 2012
http://sweetglowbeauty.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 5, 2012. Neutrogena SkinClearing Liquid Makeup, $12. I've never been much of a foundation kind of girl, but lately I noticed that it really can create a nice, clean palette- as a start- and can also help my blush go on more evenly and stay longer. And it's all about that sweet glow, amirite? Of course, being new to the game, I wanted one that wasn't too expensive and also wouldn't clog my pores. What's the point of foundation if it makes your skin worse? So, does it really clear your skin?

Sweet Glow Beauty: October 2010
http://sweetglowbeauty.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 28, 2010. China Glaze Mummy May I, $2-5. China Glaze's Mummy May I is from their halloween collection (pretty appropriate for this week! It is a dark cherry/black polish speckled with pinkish purple sparkles. Mummy May I has a pretty thick consistency and requires 2 coats at least. Anything more might be too goopy. I don't really know why this polish is more thick and globby than others but it is. You have to be more careful and mindful about how much is on your brush. Color, except a b...

Sweet Glow Beauty: July 2011

Monday, July 18, 2011. Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, $9-$10. Seche Vite claims their top coat is the world's finest. And you know what? It just might be. I originally got it from my sister-in-law, who said it's the only top coat that works for Konad. Nail stamps (i.e., doesn't make them smear everywhere). I liked it so much I started using it all the time. And I'm definitely not super careful with my nails. It really only takes a few seconds to dry, which is perfect for someone who always. This is the ki...

Sweet Glow Beauty: June 2011
http://sweetglowbeauty.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 27, 2011. The Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover, $14.50. I have very sensitive eyes, so I've had trouble finding a makeup remover that doesn't irritate them. I've also had trouble finding a remover that doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy (yuck! So, I had resorted to using lotion as a make-shift remover- that is, until I tried The Body Shop's Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover. The Body Shop's makeup remover is a thin, water-like formula with barely any scent. It's thin, water-...

My Broadway Debut | Avenue Eff
https://avenueeff.wordpress.com/2011/12/13/my-broadway-debut
A Washingtonian at heart, living a Manhattan life. This is so hilar →. December 13, 2011. I’ve been fortunate enough to see dozens of Broadway shows over the years, everything from classics such as “Phantom of the Opera” to new shows such as “Anything Goes.” But I got to walk on a Broadway stage for the first time last week. After the show was over, Andrea, Tad and I went to the stage door to see if we could catch Brad on his way out. When we saw him, several people in the crowd said, “*Gasp! Immediately...
