I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and colors. Sep 19, 2009. Daisy picots and Maltese rings. I came across a beautiful technique on one of the sites called the daisy picots by Riet Surtel. It can be used to make beautiful flowers using two color or more. I especially liked the explanation and supporting pictures given at Jon’s site. Here are my first attempts at making daisy picots. I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and colors. Jan 18, 2011. I had time to design a new pair of earring which I have named Twirlz. It is a simple pattern tatted using size 20 thread and embellished with turquoise Miyuki delicia beads. After adding lever back earring findings the earrings look like this.
