During my first visit to Scandinavia in summer of 2008, one of the stops in Finland was a town called. We later moved to another floor where a "Fashion Show" would be starting shortly. Follow My Adventures In Sweden and Abroad. August 9, 2010. Shopping and the Swedish Man. While getting to know and becoming acquainted with Swedish men, do not be surprised to hear them say things like, "I love clothes" or "I love shopping" or to have them take just as long in the stores as you would as a female. You can be sure that whatever their style - rocker, preppy or trendy - time and effort is put into every. August 11, 2010 at 9:23 AM. August 17, 2010 at 3:09 AM. December 9, 2010 at 9:41 PM.

My Life As A Swede: November 2009
http://swedishnic.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
My Life As A Swede. The tedious and incoherent ramblings of a young Australian living in Sweden. Tuesday, 10 November 2009. The BBC has just made a television adaptation of Henning Menkel’s novels, starring Kenneath Branaugh as Kurt Wallander. I’m not sure now the rest of the world views it but from Sweden it looks completely bizarre. This is a TV series set in Sweden, filmed in Sweden, where all the characters are meant to be Swedish, and yet the whole thing is in English. I suppose when you’re li...

I’ve just returned to Sweden after a holiday back in Melbourne, where the most visible sign of change on the skyline of my native city is a giant wheel. On my return I learn that Gothenburg are planning on building a giant wheel too. Why this obsession with glorified amusement park rides? Melbourne’s wheel, the Southern Star. Have one ferr...

My Life As A Swede: Svensk Stad

My Life As A Swede. The tedious and incoherent ramblings of a young Australian living in Sweden. Thursday, 11 June 2009. Every town will typically centre around a large public square and 99% of the time that square will be called Stor Torget (The Big Square). I can confidently say there is not a town or village in all of Sweden that doesn’t have a Stor Torget, even if it isn’t the main square. 11 June 2009 at 20:06. True I grew up in a medium-sized city, in the north, Luleå, but I have no feelings for it.
