Yes, I missed posting last week and I’ve still been struggling. But I haven’t given up! That counts for something, right? However, it’s becoming obvious, even to me, that I need to make some changes to my plan if this is ever going to succeed. So for the next week…. Limit my eating to three meals a day. No snacking.

His independence on horseback has greatly improved as has his ability to follow directions. I was chatting with his instructor, Erin, about this the other day and wanted her opinion as to what gains she thought Pippin had made. She suggested taking videos of his riding. What a great idea! When I realized it was Pippin on the phone I asked, Is this Pippin? He actually answered me with a Yes it is. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Paper and use watercolors to paint a very large tree with branches only. Often we throw in a little browned grass below the tree. Then, using fall colors, we use the watercolors to paint a large piece of paper (from that roll). Wirtten by a homeschool kid who likes to argue that math. Shared by a dear friend.
