Spatial Geometrix: Tensegrity Symmetry
http://spatialgeometrix.blogspot.com/p/tensegrity.html
Spatial Structures; Tensegrity Symmetry and Geodesic; the art and design from my perspective! This blog was first published in March 2010 as a record of my study into Tensegrity structures and forms. Most recently (Jan/Feb 2012) I have had the opportunity to correspond with a number of fellow enthusiasts and have realised that symmetrical geometry inherent within the complexity of tensegrity structures is not as widely recognised as I perceived it might be. After all many if not the majority of Tensegrit...

Spatial Structures; Tensegrity Symmetry and Geodesic; the art and design from my perspective! Saturday, 11 February 2012. Updating Blog Aug 2015. I will be updating some of the images and collections in the existing articles and look at ways of clarifying the inclusion of the virtual elements pertaining to rotational axis and geometrics. Please bear with me while I sort things out. Please refer to the tab called “Tensegrity Symmetry” which will explain in detail my objectives. Posted by Hugh Thomson.

Spatial Geometrix: Tensegrity: Model Files
http://spatialgeometrix.blogspot.com/2010/10/tensegrity-model-files.html
Spatial Structures; Tensegrity Symmetry and Geodesic; the art and design from my perspective! Saturday, 9 October 2010. I have decided to make available a number of viewable 3D model files from the most recent articles relating to Tensegrity Symmetry. The link will open a page on Google Docs where the file can be downloaded. Each file created is a 3D PDF which can be viewed in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. The 3D PDF file format allows the user to interact with the model. Tensegrity 3v Pars Tetra RS.

Spatial Geometrix: September 2010
http://spatialgeometrix.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Spatial Structures; Tensegrity Symmetry and Geodesic; the art and design from my perspective! Tuesday, 28 September 2010. Inevitably exploration of tensegrity progresses to the building of masts or towers. The most common structural unit for building a mast is the T-Prism or 3-Prism. In a tiered mast arrangement the slight variations in form become quite apparent with my preference favouring the second form. In each case (above) the second tier is an inverted copy of the base form. Posted by Hugh Thomson.
