The tile is currently up, but I need to chisel out the mortar between the tiles and scrape the drips off so we can grout, but I just can’t find the motivation! I think today will be the day. January 13, 2016. Phew, that last post was heavy! Let’s lighten things up with a sneak peak at a project in the works. This is what my front porch looks like right now, except the grass is covered with snow! So I’m starting with this…. A a wool blazer, a lovely collection of worn plaid shirts, and a terribly shaped cable-knit sweater, all for under $3 a piece. They are going to be the new pillow covers. Thursday, October 23, 2014. Joy School Halloween Party. Becca was looking forward to this all month! Joy School was held at our neighbors' for the big party. Practice run with the costumes. The kids practiced a little program for us moms. When we came, they were "hiding" upstairs (they kept coming down to see who was there.). After everyone was present and accounted for, they marched down the stairs to some music and marched around and around the living room and kitchen. My camera and I are fighting.

Sunday, June 7, 2015. Last Sunday Becca and I were the only 2 well enough to go to church. Jacob had the stomach flu (I'm blaming those bouncy houses at the Family Picnic), and Adam had a cough. Since I had a lesson to teach, I went with Becca, while Daddy stayed home with the boys. Saturday, June 6, 2015. First Grade Open House. Last week was the First Grade Open House. We went and got to see what Jacob's been working on, including his pupae (mealworm that has yet to become a beetle), and even hold a painted lady butterfly. This is his wonderful teacher.
