The Bungalow Partnership was established in September 2012 following a pilot project funded by Middlesbrough Council and two GP practices in West Middlesbrough. This pilot project involved providing support to patients and their families who were experiencing a range of emotional and behavioural problems which did not satisfy the criteria for a referral to CAMHS. The operation of the Bungalow Partnership is financed by an annual charge to participating schools, who nominate children and their families who they feel will benefit from working with our staff. Along with their family, each child is guaranteed support every week, with support for individual children and their families continuing for as many weeks as necessary.
