The comings and goings of Nate, Lesley, Matthew, Brayden and Preston. Tuesday, September 6, 2011. So as soon as we got here to AZ our camera decided to give up the ghost. So now we are just stuck with awful cell phone cameras :(. Sweet Brayden started his last year of pre-K. He loves it, yea! Matthew started 1st grade, he really loves his teacher and riding the bus. Really 4 pieces of toast caked in butter? When I asked why 4 pieces, he said because that is how many I need. Actually I think it is because that is how many slots there are in the toaster. And of course our tag-a-long couldn't be left out! Oh well, I am sure that it could have been worse! Thursday, June 3, 2010. He is really a happy boy!

The comings and goings of Nate, Lesley, Matthew, Brayden and Preston. Friday, September 17, 2010. Preston is 9 months! I can't believe our baby is 9 months old! Time goes by way to quickly! Preston has been crawling for about 2 months already and in just the last 2 weeks he has really gotten mobile and I don't like it one bit! It started with discovering the kitchen cupboards. Monday, August 13, 2012. We're excited for a new school year and mom is excited to be back on schedule! As much as I love the lazy, noncommittal days of summer there is something calming about getting back into a routine. Sebastian started 2nd grade in the same school but a new building. Dad is coaxing that he wants to be a pilot for "fun" and get a "real" job when he grows up. Mackenzie with Mrs. Amanda. Dylan is still sleeping in and practicing his cool looks. He loves to make us laugh!

Thursday, March 18, 2010. Received the following e-mail from my mom today. She's in Haiti with a humanitarian group (Healing Hands for Haiti). She's gone several years but with the recent devastation this trip has been more difficult than previous ones. I get it. It's not like I've been vacationing for the last several months! Wednesday, September 30, 2009. I love when this. Looks like this in less than 10 hours! Was running through the house and caught the corner of an open chest of drawers with her noggin. The scream ended quickly. almost as quickly as the swelling began. I didn't realize a bump could swell so much and so rapidly. Maybe she has a little of her Uncle Matt (aka Wolverine) in her. Friday, December 18, 2009. Favorite food: Roast beef (news to me). Instructions: Mix hot chicken, roast pickles and hot chocolate. Cook it for 10 minutes. After much deliberation, fighting, persuading and arguing, Sami finally allowed me to really do her hair for crazy hair day. Let's just say that she got a lot of compliments! Monday, April 23, 2012. Coming home late at night and seeing her standing in her kitchen eating her late night snack of cereal. Christmas parties with her twice baked potatoes and cheesecake.
