Monday, August 3, 2015. My 5 Favorite Children's Books A Special Project! Happy Monday, Friends! Today I have some fun news to share! For the month of August I'm teaming up with two awesome bloggers to host a virtual BOOK DRIVE! I love giving back and showing people ways we can help others in need, even if we don't always have a lot of time to volunteer or much money to donate. I figure the easier it is, the more people are able and willing to help. And that's amazing! Pam ( Hodge Podge Moments. Maybe th...

Natalie Patalie: Bookish (and not-so Bookish) Thoughts #6
http://natalie-patalie.blogspot.com/2015/08/bookish-and-not-so-bookish-thoughts-6.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Bookish (and not-so Bookish) Thoughts #6. Many people have asked how I like my new computer, so I'll say it again right here that it's amazing. I've been playing a lot of Saints Row IV. Which wouldn't even run on my old laptop, I always had to use Andrew's computer to play it) and World of Warcraft. I finally have my first lvl 60! This week I'm letting my inner magical girl shine with my new necklace from Etsy shop Hell Yeah Sweet N' Sour. Actually talking about book stuff now!

Thursday, February 26, 2015. Tales from the Bookshelf - How to Archer: The Ultimate Guide to Espionage and Style and Women and Also Cocktails Ever Written. So far my goal of reading 50 books this year hasn't started off too great. According to my Goodreads counter I'm already "3 books behind schedule.". Luckily there's still plenty of time to fix that. Anyway, recently I finished reading How to Archer: The Ultimate Guide to Espionage and Style and Women and Also Cocktails Ever Written,. Now that we're al...

Natalie Patalie: The Book of Strange New Things (A Rambling Rant)
http://natalie-patalie.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-book-of-strange-new-things-rambling.html
Friday, August 14, 2015. The Book of Strange New Things (A Rambling Rant). Alternately titled "I read a book by Michel Faber and all I got was this long list of questions and feelings of regret, so I wrote this overly long, incoherent post in one sitting.". Alright guys. Let me just say right now that this isn't going to be like one of my regular book reviews. I couldn't even bring myself to allow it in my Tales from the Bookshelf. Happen, or things that shouldn't have. Happened in this book than what did.

Natalie Patalie: August 2014
http://natalie-patalie.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2014. I've decided to keep doing these little "Life Lately" Instagram updates :D Recently, a blog friend told me "you're a lifestyle blogger that doesn't really write about yourself." I'm not sure if I agree with that (this blog is about all the things I like,. After all, hahah), but I sort of see what she meant. I often write about. Something I like, read, played, whatever, but I don't really write long posts like, "I did XYZ, here's pictures documenting the whole day.". I hope it's n...

Friday, June 26, 2015. Tales from the Bookshelf - Mini Reviews! This month I've made a nice little dent in my Summer reading (even though the official. First day of Summer was only a few days ago, but you get the idea). So far I've finished four books this month.which isn't a lot for some people, but for someone as busy and slow-reading as me it really feels like I'm on a roll. Anyway! Today I'm writing about two different books I read that I want to share with you! So here we go! Group I participate in!

Natalie Patalie: Bookish (and not-so Bookish) Thoughts #7
http://natalie-patalie.blogspot.com/2015/08/bookish-and-not-so-bookish-thoughts-7.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Bookish (and not-so Bookish) Thoughts #7. On Friday I finished reading Tolstoy and the Purple Chair. Now my current read is Etiquette and Espionage. This is the first steampunk book I've read! Which is weird because I think steampunk is really cool. Another steampunk book I want to read is Android Karenina. Thinking about all this steampunk stuff just made me realize that with my new computer I can finally try playing Bioshock! We're now in week two of The Blogger Book Drive.
