http://the-big-red-barn-blog.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
The Big Red Barn. The Adventures of Barb and Steve in Southwestern Wisconsin. Monday, November 28, 2011. This weekend we made the coop cozy warm for the chickens. Not over-the-top warm. Just warm enough not to freeze their combs off. This is what we did. The easy part was placing a water heater. Next, after much research, we bought a thermostatically-controlled outlet. Comes on at 35 degrees and goes off at 45 degrees) to which we plugged in a ceramic infrared heat emitter. Thursday, November 10, 2011.
