Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Well, she may not be a partner for Baryshnikov. But she is our little dancer! Rebecca has been taking a ballet/tap combo class once a week through her preschool. It is a great chance for the girls to make great friends and polish up their motor skills. Rebecca loves it! The recital was this last Friday. It was great! Sunday, June 15, 2008. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. So you know if our son's name is Patrick that this holiday is special to our family. Everyone knows that leprachauns value their gold more than their lives, so we knew he would return soon to retrieve his prize. Being cunning creatures we are, we set a trap devised of a hand-drawn net and some popsicle sticks! Friday, November 21, 2008. So last week we had some snow! I love the first snow of the year- especially in Colorado. It is a beautiful blanket, causes no traffic problems and is gone by noon! Who wouldn't love it? The snow here is typically so dry that we can't make snowmen. But this was nice wet goopy stuff and smashed well into the fascinating figure of Frosty. We had this great snowman kit, courtesy of Aunt Marta and we loved our snowman! And as for frosty. Had to hurry on his way. But he waved goodbye.

Saturday, May 9, 2009. Well, it is birthday season here! We have done nothing but party since last weekend! Today was the final jewel in the tiara- we had her birthday party complete with a visit from Cinderella! She is a busy lady but she did have time to stop by, paint faces, lead a parade, read a story, pass out some treasure and then leave in her magical carriage for the Mother's Day ball! Saturday, March 7, 2009. Happy birthday little man! Well, our boybarian turned two last week! I cannot believe it! We were lucky enough to have Grandpa out to visit to celebrate the happy event. Tuesday, March 10, 2009. We were lucky enough to have my dad out to visit for last week. Lucky but now we miss him! One of the highlights was taking Grandpa to our favorite swimming hole at the family fun plex. (Or maybe that was the only time I remembered my camera- you be the judge! The kids really like the "lazy river" but as Grandpa found out it is not so lazy. Patrick stole Rebecca's pink goggles, and the rest is documented here. Looks like Grandpa needs a hair cut! Tuesday/Thursday are Sonic days.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. The Riley family house is on the market. Says "Wonderful home with spacious rooms in a friendly neighborhood with pool and rec area. Enjoy the mountain views from the great deck and patio! This home is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Light, bright and open. Basement is very roomy and ready to finish.". But this house is for sale. With a lot of elbow grease and prayers to Saint Joseph, we hope it sells quickly! Need a house in Greeley, CO? This one's priced to sell.
