The Velo ORANGE Blog: Stella's Favorite Things
http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2015/05/stellas-favorite-things.html
21 May, 2015. By Stella, as told to Adrian and Igor. Even as a dog, there is absolutely no reason why I can’t enjoy cycling just as much as my 2-legged counterparts. In addition to long walks on the beach and playing fetch , I enjoy going on bicycle rides in my spare time. These are some of my favorite VO products for tagging along on bicycle rides:. Would be your best bet. And Grand Cru Handlebar Bag. What else can hold all of my treats and toys? To prevent spray back on me when the weather turns sour.

The Velo ORANGE Blog: Drillium Noir
http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2015/05/drillium-noir.html
19 May, 2015. Coming this fall, a retro black version of our drillium crank. It's like the 1980's are back. But we'll make the logo the Grand Cru crest on the production version. Waddya think? Also, later today w. E'll have a small quantity of the new style long setback seat posts. Looks nice. Any plans on drillum triples? 5/19/15, 1:42 PM. I like black components more than most but I dont like it. Looks like someone attacked the crank with a bedazzler. 5/19/15, 3:30 PM. 5/19/15, 4:45 PM. 5/19/15, 6:30 PM.

The Velo ORANGE Blog: Threadless Bottom Brackets
http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2009/12/threadless-bottom-brackets.html
07 December, 2009. The threadless bottom brackets that I mentioned a few months ago have arrived and are available in the VO store. They fit most frames, even those with Swiss threading. And they work on frames with damaged BB shells, even if the existing threading is totally stripped. Speaking of BBs, Grand Cru Italian thread BBs, with JIS taper, will arrive in a couple of months. Posted by Velo Orange. That BB is kickass! What a great design. The colours are ok too :). 12/7/09, 4:58 PM. 12/7/09, 5:09 PM.

The Velo ORANGE Blog: If You Could Only Have One Bike...
http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2015/07/if-i-could-only-have-one-bike.html
29 July, 2015. If You Could Only Have One Bike. During a recent VO staff meeting a topic of conversation was what bike we would choose if we could only have one. I've recently been thinking and reading about the idea of simple living so this really interested me, so much so that I asked our staff to write a few sentences about what they would choose if limited to one bike. Well that's a commitment and a half! I can run it with wide touring tires for the rough roads of Iceland and also put 2.4 MTB tir...

The Velo ORANGE Blog: A Wider Microfiber Touring Saddle
http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2015/07/a-wider-microfiber-touring-saddle.html
07 July, 2015. A Wider Microfiber Touring Saddle. Our original VO microfiber touring saddle. Has been very popular. That's not surprising since it's much lighter and less expensive than a leather saddle, yet still very comfortable. With its suede-like top it also retains the look of a classic saddle. We 've now added. Designed for folks who keep their handlebars at or above saddle height, or who simply find a wider saddle more comfortable. At 165mm wide it's about the same width as a VO Model 3. A Wider ...

28 April, 2015. Rhodia Notebooks, The VO Standard. Sometimes I think Velo Orange runs on notebooks. Most of us always have them out, listing, sketching, doodling. I've long used Rhodia notebooks, which have been made since 1934 in France and are named after the Rhone river. The two trees in the logo represent the two brothers who started the company. The medium sized notebook. This large top stapled pad. What do you think, iPad or note pad? 23 April, 2015. 40oz Klean Kanteens and Mojave Cages. We just go...

The Velo ORANGE Blog: The Piolet Frame is Here
http://velo-orange.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-new-piolet-frame-is-here.html
08 July, 2015. The Piolet Frame is Here. The Piolet, our new adventure touring frame. Is here. It's designed for off-pavement touring, including dirt and gravel roads, dual track, single track or no track at all. We built it to be sturdy, simple, and very capable. Note the bosses for racks and fenders. The non-suspension corrected fork looks great. The Piolet frame is not suspension fork corrected. This really improves the appearance and helps us optimize handling. Again, note all the eyelets and bosses.
