Sunday, October 16, 2011. When we first moved into our house last year there was a lot of junk laying in a heap in the backyard. It also stayed there for quite some time, but we won't get into that. amidst the junk, I found something that could be salvaged and repurposed for another one of my "projects" someday. This picture frame ended up sitting in our basement up until today. Now I'm ready to hang some pictures! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a Mother, wife, daughter, grand-daughter, sister,...

Monday, March 5, 2012. Unexpected Rant on Home Design. I have so many ideas and projects I would like to work on and more things to add that my head is a little jumbled sometimes. After finding things at the flea market I get so excited to bring them home and set them up as how I have it pictured in my head. Sometimes I take a step back and question myself. Is it too much? Why can't I just be comfortable with the way things are? Why am I thinking like a perfectionist? Pottery Barn is expensively EVIL!

Sunday, July 10, 2011. DIY Bridal Hair Accessory. I have begun the attempt of making my own "birdcage veil" and it isn't turning out the way I was hoping it would, but, in all fairness, it is my first attempt! I was finally able to find the veil material at fabric land and the flower peice at Claire's Accessories. Yes, I know. big spender. Anyways, I followed a tutorial on how to make it and it seemed easy enough but I can't get the shape of it right! Labels: planning a wedding. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The past couple of weeks have been quite drug out with seemingly everyone in our house passing along the flu bug; we like to share apparently! Have fun, but not TOO much fun without me! It is now Sunday night, a day and a half in with him gone and I am okay! And since when did I turn into my grandmother and utter the words "doodads"? Wow) I thought to myself, I could make 3 or 4 of these for the same price! I thought I should show you wh...

http://jasmine-trites.blogspot.com/2011/09/repurposed-thrifty-find.html
Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Hello all, I have another goody of a crafting post today. I have been trying to occupy my time around the house while I play the "waiting game" for my employment number. In need for fresh air, and to get out of the house, I decided to go for a walk. Amidst my travels I stopped into Value Village (how could I not? It's one of my favorite places to treasure hunt! Solution: 2 coats of white paint. After some detailing of blue flowers I am finished. Jasmine's Corner: New Year, New Things To Come..?
http://jasmine-trites.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-year-new-things-to-come.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. New Year, New Things To Come? I have been informed by my husband that I have been neglecting my blog for the past while, so much that it is collecting metaphorical dust and cobwebs (my words, not his). I know he told me that he feels very special when I mention him in my blog, like he is an important part of my life - which he is! As it is a new year I should consider doing something a little different. A New Year's Resolution perhaps and document on the process/progress?
