The Long Walk (Away From) Home

The Long Walk (Away From) Home. Thursday, 14 July 2011. So, What Went Wrong? As I was drifting off to sleep on that third night, my eyes heavy and my stomach full, the wind began to pick up. I heard it whistling over the campsite. I listened to it safe and warm in my sleeping bag, my eyes getting heavier and heavier. This is where I would have liked to end my night, but alas it was not the end. Essentially halving my living space. How my Tent should have looked. How it did look after the wind broke it.

The Long Walk Home

The Long Walk Home. Life on the journey. Songs along the way. August 14, 2015. This morning I am sat in Waterstones cafe thinking, praying, planning and pondering. Way back at the beginning of 2014 I started to think about living life intentionally, embracing my call to walk this path God has given me, delighting in bringing order to chaos in our family life. And beyond and generally being content with not having a lovely label or answer to that horrible question, ‘what do you do? 11-13 Don’t burn out; k...
