Sunday, August 17, 2014. 2 cups dark brown sugar. 1 1/2 cups sugar. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. 1 1/2 teaspoons soda. 4 cups sweet chocolate chips. 2 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans). Preheat oven to 350°F.Combine butter, brown sugar and sugar and beat 3 to 4 minutes. Add vanilla, eggs, flour, salt and soda. Stir until sticky. This cookie dough will be somewhat dry. Do not overmix, or the cookies will be tough. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes in a preheated oven. Throw like a girl.

Thankful for a cancer lump clean out of my aunt and a small amount of treatment needed. Thankful for my Great Uncle Bill who recently passed away, the man he was, and the family him and Aunt Ida created. I will always remember them at family reunions and truly look up to every person on that side of the family. March 28, 2015 at 9:03 AM.

Monday, November 10, 2014. As if I needed another show about DC politics to watch (I did), I've just started watching a new one: Alpha House. But in this interview. I just checked, you can get all that info from Wikipedia, ha. But I just wanted to talk about something I keep noticing in the show that is bugging me (but I'll keep watching obviously), and that is the portrayal of the Mormon senator from Nevada. The UT senator and his wife saying a prayer. Mormons don't drink iced tea. No way, no how.

Monday, December 15, 2014. I seriously relate to this sooooo much! I was just home last month for thanksgiving, and will head home for christmas, soon. Whenever I go home my mom has a few of my favorite snacks (hummus, veggies, chex mix), and i head for the refrigerator almost immediately! Also, I fall asleep on the couch in the living room. People seem to be running from office to office (more so than normal), frantically talking about Saturday, all with pretty blue sweatshirts on. I need to thank some moms for donating!
