Great place to eat. Every trip we make to Hocking Hills means a trip to the Olde Dutch! The food is super, and the dessert bar? Come on, none better. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. About the Olde Dutch Restaurant. After the Civil War, local war hero and capitalist Col. Ferdinand Rempel, the City of Logan, and the Hocking Valley Railroad, hosted a reunion for over 1,000 Union veterans at this location, with then Governor (and later President) William McKinley in attendance.
