Thursday, January 19, 2012. The loot. This is the only Christmas picture I have on my phone. I'm not even going to try to "catch up" on the blog. But I will start with a semi-recent event: Christmas! We stayed in Utah for Christmas this year. Most of my family went to Maui for the holiday, but we didn't go since we went in October with Todd's family. That and the fact that its like 10 times more expensive to go to Hawaii at Christmastime. Lights On at the Riverwoods. Camille looks so calm .

Friday, October 15, 2010. And now a few words from the Husband and Father:. Sometimes I steal this blog from Natalie and post stuff. OK, actually, I pretty much never do that.But I am doing it today! First of all, can I just say how amazing Natalie is? Here is a fun picture from a few months ago and below that is a sweet photo from a few years ago that brings back some fun first-date memories. Fun to see that some things don't change (like where we position ourselves for candid love shots).

We love where we live — the people, the house itself, the location and proximity to everything — and don't plan on moving for a few more years, at least. The other day, Sophie asked me, "Mommy, what makes me special? I told her some of the plethora of things which make her special. Then I asked her what makes Daddy special? Here's her answer: "Hhhmm, Jonas is special because.he pukes! Andhe's special because he has. That's what I call the little bones inside my ears.". Broke into a million pieces!

Sunday, May 01, 2011. One of my sisters, Melody, her husband, Cody and their little baby Rockwell, moved to Utah from Arizona in January. While I think they are missing the sun quite a bit — it has been unusually cold here - it has been fabulous to have them live nearby. Side note: I moved to Utah in the fall of 2001, and for almost 10 years, my closest sibling was 10 hours away. Here is an iPhone picture of what we were working on:.
