The North wind whistles its eerie song. Through the barren branches of trees. Soft flakes float like feathers. Falling without a sound,. They melt to glisten like morning dew. Once they touch the ground. In the sky, the birds take flight. To form a ‘V’ shaped formation,. They know that they must travel far. New R...

Of wooden wagons laden with canvas, furniture, and pots, and pans. That clanged the song of their arrival as they moved up the dirt road. Horses of black, and brown and spotted grey pulled the wagons. But, to this ...

I can only hope that the coming week is better than last week. I had the flu last week, complete with headache, sneezing, chills and a churning tummy ache. I tried to barrel through it for the first part of the week, but by Thursday, I had to give in and take to my bed. I am feeling better now though not perfect. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Or to sleep like ‘Little Boy Blue’ in the hay. With no thought of the hours passing by. Nor caring about what others might say. To simply breathe out with a cleansing sigh. And let it all go to come what may. Sunday, April 21, 2013. Let Peace be our passion. To hold with resilience. Let Peace be our mantra. Friday, April 12, 2013.

My writing place. Adding a little order to the chaos. View my complete profile. Wednesday, January 08, 2014. Sometimes, I simply write. Because I’m a writer, I have to write. Writing is my best form of communication, not just with others, but with me. There are times when I sit down with paper and pen or pencil, or sit down at the keyboard with no idea or plan as to what I will write. I simply write. For me, writing is a release and a relief from the everyday worries that life can bring.
