Silas - 6 Months! You are an absolute joy! Words can't adequately explain how much your daddy, brother, sister and I delight in you. For a couple weeks this month, if you weren't sleepy right when I laid you down for your naps, you would immediately flip over onto your back so you could play. Because at this point you won't sleep when laying on your back, I was constantly going in to roll you back onto your tummy. Where you couldn't see me -. And hold my hand over your bottom so that when. E different co...

Silas - 10 Months! I can't get over how close you are to the one year mark! The last 10 months with you have gone by way too fast! This month you got to experience your first Christmas. I’m amazed at how well you did at leaving the Christmas tree alone, though you always made a beeline for a Honduran nativity scene that we kept on the bottom shelf of a side table. You loved putting those pieces in your mouth- especially baby Jesus! You really like to chew on the handle of my brush, and you. I love how wh...

Silas - 3 Months! It doesn't seem possible that it's already been 3 months! I wish there was some way to slow down time because I really want to savor every moment with you, little one! When we moved you out of your bassinet in my closet and into your room (Evie's old room) on 5/18, you went 9 hours between feedings at night. We then dropped your sixth feeding on 5/21, and you went 10 hours between feedings that night! Silas, you're such a laid back baby! Sweet Silas, you are sooooo smiley! Any time I ma...

Silas - 1 Year! I can't wrap my mind around the fact that we've already been blessed with you for a whole year now! It seems like just yesterday that your daddy was scurrying to give Caleb and Evie a last minute bath before we dropped them off and headed to the hospital. It was a good thing we left when we did because about 45 minutes after we got back into a hospital room, you were out! After just 2 pushes). At 3:24 pm and were 8lb. 2oz. and 20" of pure blessing! When you're really happy or are just bei...

Well, my blogging has been non-existent throughout this entire pregnancy, but it is not a reflection of how excited we are to meet this little guy! Silas - 7 Months! I can't believe how quickly the months are flying by! With each passing month, we fall more and more in love with you and your joyful, laid-back spirit! One of my favorite things you did this past month was you started. Growling like Evie did when she was a baby. You don't do it much, but I sure love it when you do. I also LOVE our routine when I lay you down to sleep. You still don't have any teeth. The sounds you have been making this past month are "Deh deh deh". And "Ruh ruh ruh".

Evie - 11 Months! I can't believe you're 11 months old! One year is just around the corner, and yet I feel like we just got home from the hospital! You have become so much more independent this month- walking (never crawling), insisting on feeding yourself, being willing and even excited to drink out of a bottle and also holding it yourself (I know this one may seem silly, but it's HUGE for you! I would say the one thing that characterizes you most this month is that you LOVE soft things! For a month or ...

Silas - 11 Months! What a fun month this was with you, Silas! Disney World, eating actual food and standing up! You continue to be such a funny little boy. This month you decided to just skip baby foods all together and went straight to table food. On 1/17, you ate your first green bean (your first time eating table food) and also climbed all the way up Grandma’s stairs by yourself! We had so much fun going to Disney World this month! You did such a great job traveling and loved being there. You were...

On 11/27, you got your first tooth (the bottom right one) came through after your afternoon nap. Then, a few days later on. 12/3 your bottom left tooth also came in. You've also started actually jumping more in your jumperoo,. You'll move all around your crib and will also. Roll around a lot, especially during diaper changes. Dedicated to the study and application of Scriptituareure. On April 23, 2009 by jimbrooks. Psalm 10 gives us a character sketch of the wicked. As the Lord shows patience, they become more brazen in their words and actions against the Lord and His people. As this psalm reminds us, however, the Lord is their judge and they will have to give an account to Him. Click here. To access the notes to Psalm 10. On April 22, 2009 by jimbrooks. Friday, 10 May 2013. Two people I trust have been to Cwmbran and I am delighted to read their experiences. Click their names to see their reviews. Leads Jubilee Church in Derby. Leads Kings Church Horsham. My list of things I want to look out for as I approach stories of God being at move. 1) Lots of talk about Jesus - using the bible to explain the good news. 2) Lots of emphasis on personal salvation. 3) No-one trying to push me over. 4) No heavy sell on "sowing into the revival".
