We are a New Radical 2014. We’re really excited to have been selected as one of Nesta’s ‘New Radical’ organisations of 2014 – and we’re in some great company. For the second time, Nesta has joined forces with The Observer to present a list of the social entrepreneurs and innovators using their technical expertise, community influence, scientific prowess and artistic bravery for social good – and we’re in there! Distilled into the list of 50 presented below. Website designed by The Smarter Web Company.

We will shortly be making a major announcment regarding franchising of the successful Severn Project model in association with Sainsbury's Family Charitable Trust and Allianz. All in all we paid them over £45,000 in 2014 (£55,000 in 2015). Some had help registering with HMRC and working tax credits. Others needed help in setting up an invoicing system. Some needed refrigerated collections, some needed machinery, some needed land, some needed polytyunnel space etc.

The soil was badly contaminated so as a condition of the tenancy we had to bring our own - about 800 tons! Website designed by The Smarter Web Company.
