Saturday, August 23, 2008. I wanna be a cowboy! After living in Napa for over 5 years, we finally made it to the Napa Town and Country Fair. Surprisingly, Aidan insisted on a pony ride! I was almost positive he was going to meltdown when he was placed on the pony. However, Aidan LOVED every minute of it! He was a natural and kept grinning. His pony's name was Romeo:-). Aidan started soccer this summer. So I guess that means I'm an official "soccer mom" driving around in my Volvo station wagon?

Saturday, September 27, 2008. Celebrating Tammy's Birthday on the Wine Train. Transportation" was the theme for the month of September. We celebrated my birthday on the Napa Valley Wine Train. Out of a couple hundred people, Aidan was the only child aboard the train! We had a very lovely "white tablecloth" lunch. The chef accommodated Aidan with some pasta noodles. Aidan loved every minute of it. And I had a wonderful birthday with my two boys. In the Big City. We spent Labor Day weekend in the City!

Aidan helped make a gingerbread house, Koulourakia (a Greek cookie) and pumpkin cream pie. Yummy! Aidan was a willing participant in his preschool Christmas program. Monday, August 24, 2009. Mackenzie is a KINDERGARTENER! Ready for her first day of school, Mackenzie was packing her Tinkerbell backpack a good 20 minutes before we left the house. She couldn't wait for her First Day of Kindergarten! Mackenzie and Daddy walk a whole 50 steps to school! Mackenzie stops in front of the Kindergarten playground. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Mackenzie's first swim lesson of the year was on Saturday. She had a total of 20 last year and will probably have at least 10 this year. She remembers a lot of what she learned 9 months ago and even surprised me with her confidence this last weekend. Her swim instructor, Sophia is an incredible teacher! We are so proud of Mackenzie. Monday, October 11, 2010. Mackenzie had her first piano lesson this afternoon. She did a fantastic job and couldn't wait to get home to practice. Let's hope her enthusiasm continues. We now have a keyboard at home, however I already have plans to get rid of the dining room table to make room for the baby grand! I also plan to enroll my child to a piano lesson class.
