The Daily Diaries: The Top 5 Characters I'd most want to be from "Major League" and why I'd want to be them

http://thesportsdiaries2691.blogspot.com/2011/07/top-5-characters-id-most-want-to-be.html

Sunday, July 24, 2011. The Top 5 Characters I'd most want to be from "Major League" and why I'd want to be them. I'd be a muscular powerful guy who could basically get anything I want without consequences (i.e stealing a golf club cover from Roger Dorn and making it a "hat for bat". I could catch flies in mid-air without even looking at them. I could wrap a snake around my arm and not be afraid of it. 4 Willie Mays Hayes. I'd be incredibly fast, and could run faster barefoot than guys wearing cleats.

The Daily Diaries: September 2009

http://thesportsdiaries2691.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Cheer and Jeer of the Day: 9/14. CheerS of the Day: Oakland Raiders- The laughing stock of the AFC ever since their embarrassing loss to the Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII, the Raiders played the playoff regular Chargers down to the wire on Monday Night Football. The Raiders ended the game with more total yards, fewer penalties, and more time of possession. Only a last second touchdown prevented the Raiders from a shocking upset. The Daily Diaries: November 2008

http://thesportsdiaries2691.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Thursday, November 13, 2008. This season, just a few weeks into the BCS Standings, there have already been upsets that have shifted this thing up and down, much like it did last year. Right now, the two top teams are Alabama and Texas Tech, convincingly ahead of #3 Texas, #4 Florida, and #5 Oklahoma. But will this be the way things are by season's end? Who would I like to see in the title game? Posted by thereitstuff @ 6:36 AM. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. BCS and College Football history.

Friday, December 18, 2009. Plays of the Decade. David Lee tip-in- December 20th, 2006. With the New York Knicks- Charlotte Bobcats game tied at 109 with .1 seconds left in double overtime, Lee took an inbounds pass fom Jamal Crawford and tipped the ball in while running away from the hoop. This was the 1st known instance of a game ending on such a play without the Trent Tucker rule being violated. Antonio Freeman's catch and run from his back- I think Al Michaels' famous call said it all, "He did WHAT?

The Daily Diaries: Why any true fantasy football player should wait before having their league draft

http://thesportsdiaries2691.blogspot.com/2011/07/why-any-true-fantasy-football-player.html

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Why any true fantasy football player should wait before having their league draft. Everyone who follows football knows that the way to win is to score more points than the other team. To do so, a team will put what they feel is the best collection of talent on the field every week to best give them a chance of winning. When it comes to fantasy football, the same principles apply, only with modifications to them. Posted by thereitstuff @ 2:45 PM. Subscribe to Post Comments [ Atom.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008. This Day Reminds Me Of. Bob Howry. It's like a headache in my eye. The current temp on Chicago's lakefront = 46 degrees. Winds gusting from 25 to 35 mph. It'll be June at week's end, but it's going to be 38 degrees tonight with a wind chill in the high 20s. Will someone, anyone, for the love of God please tell me why I'm not living in Buenos Aires?
