What’s On the Menu? The Spotted Dog Restaurant in Carrboro, NC. We Do Tofu Right! The “flat-iron” building wedged on an island between Main and Weaver Street in downtown Carrboro, has been home to the Spotted Dog. Co-owners Linda Bourne and Karin Mills had visions of their own restaurant. 8212; one in which a vegetarian (Linda) and a non-vegetarian (Karin) would have more than a token menu choice. Initially planning for at least 25% vegetarian, the menu soon evolved into about a 50/50 share for both.
