Greeting from the ATL! Date night with my daughter. I’ve got some RANDOM THOUGHTS-style things I wanted to tell you about. Moving to the south, specifically in the Atlanta area, has lots of challenges, but also has some super cool and funny stuff too. That stands for Thank Goodness It’s Pine Straw Day! A place for all of my random thoughts. I love my garden. It’s my summer sanctuary. I grew up learning to garden. We had a HUGE garden and orchard and we put up a lot of our own food. Now that I have my own household and family to feed, I really enjoy being able to grown and harvest my own food. For the last 5 years, I’ve been designing and building my garden as well as perfecting my soil and growing techniques. I have a 30’x40′ plot enclosed by a 4′ fence. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. A gazillion thoughts at once and it is just. awesome! So today is the first day of a new season, for some it s the first day of Fall and for others the first day of Spring. Meanwhile, my Brazilians friends, are excited about the beginning of the spring, the end of the winter (truth be told, our winter is not a winter per se but everything gets winter-ish.). We can now say it s springtime, the time for growth, for renewal. It s all Relative. So Today was one of those intense days, a good one, but intense.
