We hosted our second Chromebooks, Cookies, and Coffee session this week with a focus on communications tools. Primarily Blogger. Aside from enjoying each others company, a plethora of cookies, and a few cups of delicious coffee, we discussed ideas and opportunities for using the above mentioned tools. This afternoon was great. 3 members of our building tech committee led 3 quick show and tell sessions (5 minutes or so in legnth) on 3 different digital assessment tools. Flubaroo (and google forms). And Edline online quizzes. After the quick show and tell portion (designed to let all the staff see and hear about each tool and how their colleagues use it), t hey broke into 3 individual sessions to learn the how and CREATE.
