Leonardo, vieni á volare! Leonardo, sognare! | The Temporary Florentine
https://thetemporaryflorentine.wordpress.com/2013/02/20/leonardo-vieni-a-volare-leonardo-sognare
One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. Okay, so what have I actually been doing here? Leonardo, vieni á volare! February 20, 2013. If you’ve known me long enough, there’s a chance that you’ve heard me mention a guy by the name of Eric Whitacre. A slightly embarrassing, but extremely well-founded, obsession. Needless to say, Leo’s a pretty important guy to the Florentines; his. Is even on the back of the Italian 1 euro coin! So, why has this song been stuck in my head? Leap of...

One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. Because I’m the kind of guy who agonizes over self-descriptive paragraphs, I’ve opted for a bulleted list. It’s just easier that way. I’m a junior at Elon University. I’m an English literature major. I’m studying abroad in Florence, Italy with Accademia Europea di Firenze. A cappella music is my jam. Other jams include health promotion, education, and hugs. I take pictures. Like, a lot of pictures. I’M SO EXCITED TO STUDY ABROAD!

One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. Since U Been Gone. Jengka, Pahang Workshop: July 24 →. Time flies when you live in Italy. April 21, 2013. So while it doesn’t feel like it’s been two and a half weeks since I last updated this blog, it apparently has been…which means I have a lot more to catch everyone up on! In my twenty years of life. This photo sums the day up pretty nicely, I’d say:. After Spring Break, it was back to school and classes at AEF! At the Fiorentina game...

One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. My New Blog’s Resolution(s). Leonardo, vieni á volare! February 3, 2013. Fun fact: I’m updating this blog from my apartment in Firenze (the Italian name for Florence). So that’s pretty cool, I guess. (! So much has happened already and I’ve only been here for a day, but I’ll do my best to (briefly) recap the experience thus far. Before I finish, I thought I’d end this post with some of the things I’ve learned thus far (this. When you buy...

Wednesday, 19 August 2009. Living the Sweet Life. There is so much we take for granted here in the USA and I am trying to take that learning into my life and be grateful for everything I have. I think it should be mandatory for every American to live outside the USA for at least. To look back at our mother land fondly while also experiencing what the rest of the world has to offer. I am grateful for having been blessed with that opportunity. God Bless America and all her people! Sunday, 2 August 2009.
