The Southworth Family: February 2013
http://southworthshappenings.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 11, 2013. These pictures are from Disneyland March 2012. Let's see if I remember how to do this. It's been so long since I've posted. My cousin has inspired me to start posting again. So here we go. This first picture is from a field trip we took to a local farm in March 2012. This is Spencer and his cousin Lincoln getting a close up look at a cow. Here Spencer is learning to milk a cow. Now Caleb gets a lesson in cow milking. The kids feed the cow. Caleb watching the cow.

Monday, March 22, 2010. I know we're not very good about posting things here and we've got quite the backlog of pictures and stuff. I'm trying not to worry about getting things in order and just get some. Things posted, or nothing is ever going to get done. Anyway, here's a cute video from a few days ago. Some days, the hardest part of being a parent is not laughing. Friday, March 12, 2010. Kids Say the Darndest Things. 8220;Why did Joseph get a time out? He tried to kiss him.”. Sunday, March 7, 2010.

The Southworth Family: September 2010
http://southworthshappenings.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. Todd's parents came down for the 4th of July. While they were down, Spencer had a good time playing the guitar with Papa and helping him put up a rain gutter bookshelf. Thanks again Loren for the help with the bookshelf. Beach with Auntie Wug. Here are some pictures of our trip to the fair. These are pictures from Todd's birthday party. Every year we have a board game birthday party where we invite people over to play games. Monday, September 27, 2010. This weekend at the fa...

Our Happy Happy Family!!: The Getty Villa
http://amakasukids.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-getty-villa.html
Our Happy Happy Family! Here's what we do, where we go, what we like, and how we grow! May 16, 2015. Here's a random picture of some mosaics the boys made. Can you believe I have never been here? Maybe because it's in Malibu and the traffic is horrendous through LA anytime of the day. I don't miss that at all. San Deigo's traffic is a hiccough compared to LA. I digress. Lovely, classical, serene. I didn't even need to tell my kids who this is. Hermes/Mercury, of course! Benny, Owen and Milo:. 8220;Howeve...

Our Happy Happy Family!!: Compassion Project
http://amakasukids.blogspot.com/2015/05/compassion-project.html
Our Happy Happy Family! Here's what we do, where we go, what we like, and how we grow! May 5, 2015. On the ride home we discussed the hardships these children have faced. The food we had for dinner seemed almost vulgar in quantity. I'm so glad the boys were able to experience this. We are certainly more aware and more thankful for our abundant blessings. The Cahoon Family: August 2011
http://thecahoons.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Phill, Ashley, Porter and Sawyer. Monday, August 29, 2011. It was an easy fix too. Hooray, no more worrying about our children having a heat stroke! While inside we end up watching a movie almost everyday. Porter loves 'flying' like Buzz. Update on Porter, he stays dry every night without a pull-up, and is doing great with few accidents in the day. 8 months later, but we are happy with the result. Never in my life did I think I would say this, but please winter come soon! Posted by The Cahoons! Earlier t...

Bridey Fiore: Knitting at the speed of light
http://brideyfiore.blogspot.com/2009/05/knitting-at-speed-of-light.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Knitting at the speed of light. This little sweater is for Isabella. I have unraveled it all the way down to the purple zig zag to change the colors around. This one is taking too long- I'm trying to stay interested. This sweater is for Baby Amakasu (if it's a boy). I have baby girl's sweater in the mix, too. My latest creative obsession has been knitting. It's about 9 months old actually. Shouldn't I have a baby to show for it? Why do I love knitting? 4 It's fabulous fun. Oops I h...

Bridey Fiore: A good reminder
http://brideyfiore.blogspot.com/2009/03/good-reminder_26.html
Thursday, March 26, 2009. Alysia and Michael and fam. This was one of my favorite talks of all time! I remember when I heard it, I just was beaming by the end of it, and I felt like it was just for me! It was validation for the mission of creating beauty. It seems so impractical sometimes and it was good to be reminded that it is so eternally important. I love having friends like you who also love to create and find beauty and who remind me that those things are important too. March 28, 2009 at 9:23 PM.
