Life as I know it. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Order and completion is finally on the horizon! Since February, the Lee house has been a 'remodeling' zone. A good and necessary step in preparing for another little one to join us! But, a not 'fun' process for the neurotic mother who thrives in order and cleanliness. So, needless to say, I had to spend a lot of time on my knees and renewing my mind that all this is temporary. Stocked the nursery with furniture and began decorating! And we're almost finished!

Life as I know it. Monday, February 21, 2011. Playing games, rolling in 'fake' snow, and drinking hot chocolate in front of the fire place in the North Carolina mountains with Gigi, Aunt Amy, Uncle Chad and Sloane was so much fun. And I actually read an entire book. Hannah asked me to be her confirmation mentor. We have met together weekly for four weeks now and it's been a pure joy to talk with her about her faith and God's Word. She is an insightful and inquisitive young lady. Posted by Rachael Lee.

Life as I know it. Friday, March 25, 2011. Is I let her wear it. I asked the girls if they wanted to pick their own outfits- head to toe- on their own. Of course they were thrilled and rose to the occasion. I didn't even supervise. This is my effort to give them some autonomy. So, they come out ready to model their attire. Life as I know it. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Is 9 weeks and counting! Baby girl # 3 is well on her way to joining the Lee family. We have 9 weeks left and she seems eager to get out and meet her big sisters. I don't know if it's real or not, but it seems that when she hears them talking or laughing, she wakes up and tries to kick her way out to them. And they are so excited to hold her! And name her.) So to celebrate her pending arrival, we took our traditional 'belly' pictures yesterday! A Tale of Two Boys.

Life as I know it. Saturday, January 22, 2011. We had an interesting discussion during bath time this week (Jason was not present, but I would have loved to hear his perspective). We discussed, "If you were a Care Bear, what would your name be? Rachael: I think Kendall's name would be Tender Heart. Jordan: There's already a tender heart. Rachael: You're right. Hmm. Kendall: I think my name would be Loves-a-lot. I love that she named herself! Kendall: No, I think Jordan should be named Sparkle Heart.
