I've been trying to fix different things lately and there's an awful lot of stuff in my own cookbook that I haven't actually made yet. This Waldorf was quite easy and it will get eaten over the next few days. Try it. You don't actually need to be 'right on' with the ingredient amounts. Alter to your taste. 1/3 C mayonnaise ½ C. sliced baby carrots. Slow Start this am.

This side of the Road. My neighborhood growing up. 19th Street, Port Townsend. Friday, August 29, 2014. Got my staples out today and while that didn't hurt all that much, I am a tad uncomfortable. Am sure it's gonna take a while. Using the computer is hit and miss but I'm determined to at least get a couple sentences done. Have tons to write about but it'll keep. Here's one Mary took pre-surgery. Activities will be limited and I can't lift anything but if I can get on the computer a bit, that will help.

It can be highly controlled and systematic, or it can throw into an emotional abyss. I lean more toward the latter…. One moment, I was excited, and a little stressed, about planning my wedding. A split-second later I was consciously fighting off a sadness/panic/whatever attack when it hit me with a new, stronger realism. My mom wil not be at my wedding.
