2010 was a busy year. A lot happened to us not only in Canada and the U.S.A., but also in India! Click on our pictures above or on the links that follow to see what we've been up to. More somber note: in February 2010 my father, John, died. Some pictures and a poem of his can be found HERE. Has a page about dill. And then there's our travels. All the best for 2010. For us, 2009 was a busy year. A lot happened in or around the house. And also in Cambridge. Massachusetts. And then we made a trip across the continent. Background image: view east from Hwy 789, somewhere South of Creston Junction WY. The top two insets were shot at home to feature the newly reupholstered rocking chair. Best wishes for 2012! This past year Adam finished his co-op placement at the Puvidham Nursery and Primary School, near Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu, India; his blog. Tells a lot about what he did there. John is going back to UBC in Vancouver next week. Just before Christmas we drove down to Pennsylvania and New Jersey to see, respectively, Tim's cousins, and Meher's brother - before spending a few days in Cambridge with Lenore (above). Both Adam and Meher. February and January - cooking and snow.

Friday, August 14, 2015. Week 14 - Partly Cloudy. This week brings a brilliant sun partially obscured by swirling shiny clouds. The clouds are stitched with a stem stitch. Using a strand of DMC E135 (multi-colored metallic) with a nice light gray. The sun is a combination of stitches all including one strand of Madeira Supertwist metallic copper.
