Thrifty Thread

Sunday, March 20, 2011. This necklace was inspired from an Anthropologie necklace. I bought a gold color chain from a craft store (100 inches) for $3. I cut out small circles of varying sizes out of muslin or you can just use any cream colored fabric. Then I attached 3 small pearls to each "flower bunch.". I doubled up the flowers on the chain (I put 2 back to back) so when the chain moves the flower is finished on both sides. Then I used a glue gun to glue the flowers to the chain. And its super cute on!

Thrifty Thread: MAKE A WALL CANVAS MADE FROM FABRIC FOR $10!

http://www.thriftythread.blogspot.com/2011/01/wall-canvas-made-from-fabric-for-10.html

Sunday, January 9, 2011. MAKE A WALL CANVAS MADE FROM FABRIC FOR $10! I created 3 canvases out of fabric I bought from a local fabric store. The type of fabric I chose happened to have a "painted look" so it looks more like a painted canvas but you can do this with any design of fabric! Fabric - size depends on what size canvas you want. You need just enough fabric to wrap around to the other side of the stretcher bars and staple. 2 Lay out the frame on top of your material (right side facing down).

A Thrifty Thinker: A Thrifty Blog

Thursday, March 8, 2012. 10 Strategies to Save Money. MSN Money recently posted an article on 10 strategies to save money. Truth be told, it was one of the better ones I had seen in a while. Among their tips are:. 1 Kick-Start Your Savings Plan. This can be difficult, but having a savings (however small) to fall back on in difficult times can prevent taking high-interest loans in an emergency, saving you potentially thousands in interest each year. 2 Shop Around for Insurance. This was big for me, when I...
