BOODHAfying, one lesson at a time. Like the tiny birdling breaking through its own shell. Something inside my chest pecks with its sharp beak. Stabbing at my breast, painfully, cracking. Open the shell of me, one tiny fracture at a time. It will have its way out eventually. And in the process I will die. Someone will light my funeral pyre. And from my ashes it will rise into the sky. This great and beautiful feathered freedom. While I lie cracked open and dead and burnt to ash. 8212; Able Boodha. A Side ...

The Playoff Race | Sean's JetStream

Analysis and comparison of the Winnipeg Jets. March 20, 2015. The race for the playoffs has never been as tight for the Winnipeg Jets this season as it is right now. The Jets currently sit in the second wild card spot, two points ahead of the Kings and one point back of the Minnesota Wild for top spot. There are two variables in this race, as I see it. The first is where the Jets finish, and the second is which of the pacific division teams will make it in (or will they both). The Nature of Prey →. You a...

Original poems by a young author. January 28, 2017. What is the feeling? Are we obligated to look inside, to examine? To see every thought as it arrives, with you in full expectancy. And wave it away,. As if it were a poison to the soul? You, a poison to the soul? On the outside, you appear heavy,. A shuffling sulk, a frenzy. But to me these were things I wasn’t seeing. I was seeing Expressive Intelligence,. And the way a face moves with ease. Accross a canvas twenty years past its time. And eyes that see.

Analysis and comparison of the Winnipeg Jets. April 1, 2015. Jets drop two in a row at home. The Jets drop a must win game against the New York Rangers at MTS Centre tonight despite outplaying them offensively for most of the night. Chris Kreider delivered the deathblow with just over three minutes left in the third, giving the Rangers their first and only lead of the game. Kreider was able to get past Dustin Byfuglien, and then deke Ondrej Pavelec to put the puck between his skate and the left post.

Your story matters — because you do. How can I help? February 26, 2015. February 26, 2015. Have you ever written a story whose hero is modeled after someone in your life? Has that hero ever changed in the context of your story, becoming someone other than the person you admire in real life? Has the hero ever become a villain? Or has the villain in your story ever become the hero? When one of my kids asks me, “Is he a bad guy or a good guy? Which is why I love the pause button so much. What did you say?

Your story matters — because you do. How can I help? The day I inhaled. January 23, 2015. May 18, 2016. I was on my way to a counseling appointment, driving seventy miles per hour on the interstate, when I saw the semi truck quickly closing the distance behind me. He drove so close to my back bumper for a while that I was relieved when there was finally an opening for him on the left. He pulled quickly into it and roared past me. I stopped for a while and took a few deep breaths, trying to shake it off.
