Matt in Paris: August 2007
http://mattinparis.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 16, 2007. Two weeks until departure. Only two more weeks until I take off for Europe. I'm spending the fall semester of my junior year at the Middlebury School in Paris, France, taking classes at both the Middlebury Center and Paris III. I'll be living in an apartment with a host family in the 17th arrondissement. Over the past couple weeks, it seems like every movie I go see is set in Paris. First, Ratatouille. The next one I saw was Rush Hour 3. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Two weekends ago I took the TGV out to Metz to visit family friends. It was great to see them and to be in a real family with a kid and stuff going on (including eating informal meals and watching some TV! The telethon in one of the squares. That's Philip...

Matt in Paris: Greves, Blocages, and Dad and Luke's Visit
http://mattinparis.blogspot.com/2007/11/greves-et-blocages-and-dad-and-lukes.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Greves, Blocages, and Dad and Luke's Visit. I think they had a good time overall. It was a lot of fun to spend time with them and be able to go out for nice dinners! I got to spend their last night with them in the apartment they were staying in (belonging to friends of my aunt and uncle) which was fun. It was a great opportunity to get to know another quartier. Of Paris, especially because of all of the walking we did. We also got to check out the Institut du Monde Arabe.

Our Crazy Collective: January 2014
http://fawkesacademy.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Sharing the life of the Collective Queen and her Drones. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. This Phoenix is Regenerating. I've been thinking a lot lately about this blog, about what it is and what I want it to be. After mulling this over, I've decided this Phoenix has had a good life, but it's time to for this bird to lay on the pyre and burn itself out. Not to worry, because just like the Phoenix of mythology we will rise from the ashes, to start a new journey. Links to this post. Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
