Skip to Main Content. Trademarks and Licensing Program. Follow these 6 steps to complete the Licensing Process:. Become a licensed vendor through The Collegiate Licensing Company (6 8 week process). Submit product design/idea to customer to determine if an interest exists. Submits product artwork electronically through The Collegiate Licensing Company for Licensing Director's approval. Approval usually granted within 48 hours. Vendor can now produce product/service bearing University marks.

After twenty-six years of being administered by the University Bookstore. The growth and success of the program allowed for a Licensing Office to be created in December 2005. Trademark, name, and image licensing are now handled exclusively through this new department in cooperation with University of Utah.
